Donations, to the Brookside Fire Company is simply put, we use them to better serve you and our community .

Misperceptions of Tax Funding

One of the common misperceptions is that if you pay taxes, the Fire Department receives the tax funds. This is not the case. We do not receive any tax dollars! Our Company survives mainly with your individual donations.

As a Fire Company, each year we spend thousands of dollars to meet routine obligations such as, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance, fuel, training, insurance, and medical supplies.

Remember – we want to improve and expand upon the level of service you are provided – not merely maintain what you have now.
